I'm sorry to hear about the awful experiences you and your daughter endured. There's no excuse for a medical professional to behave so rudely, especially over something skin-deep (pardon the pun lol). I've also been judged on my outward appearance and have grown tired of proving that I'm capable over and over again. I'm sure your daughter quickly grew sick of it as well.

I'm glad you both can laugh now. Sometimes it takes pain and tears to reach the point of laughter. Sometimes we laugh while crying, which is always a weird experience lol. Either way, we usually come through it stronger and wiser.
