Sadly, it happens more often than you'd think. A friend of mine back east was arrested by a police officer for being drunk in public. She has cerebral palsy. When she tried to explain that, he responded with, "If you have cerebral palsy, how are you able to talk to me?" Yeah, she has a PhD in Psychology now.
