Very true. One of my physical therapists said people will often want to help because they will feel guilty of they don’t. CP is tough because there’s such a wide range of function people can have, and no two people are the same. I’m glad to hear she can do some everyday things on her own. I didn’t realize how much I’d taken the ability to feed myself for granted until I lost that ability. I hope your daughter can retain and/or gain as much independence as possible. No, rehab isn’t quick. It often takes years. Hahaha, I love the comparison of rehab to eating an elephant. It’s oddly accurate lol.
