You know, I wish I had a harder time believing people cold be such assholes when interacting with those of us with disabilities, but first hand experience has taught me better. I've only once been accused of faking it, but it was by a snotty teenage girl who wanted my to buy cigarettes for her her from a corner store. That attitude gained steam here in the States under the last administration. It's sad and frightening that there are still people who don't see us as human beings simply because we cant stand up. I'm glad you can find the humor in the situation though. It makes a huge difference. Be well James!
